How it Works

1. The Free Consult (15 min):

A quick call to talk about your reasons for seeking counseling, what you hope to achieve, and ask questions.

2. The Intake:

We’ll discuss your life now and in the past — family, friends, daily routines, interests, values, beliefs, strengths, and other important areas that shape who you are.

3. The Sessions:

We meet, we talk, and we move toward a version of you that feels more grounded, centered, and authentic.

My Counseling Style

Sometimes only a calm presence and compassionate listening are necessary.
— Stan Goldberg

Authentic, approachable, down to earth, empathic, collaborative, non-judgmental, honest, challenging-supporter

My counseling approach is an integrative style of person-centered, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and emotion-focused therapy. I apply solution-focused, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing techniques to understand what’s most important to you. Together we will discuss your hopes, goals, and purpose to create new paths toward growth.
